A photographer and painter from Argentina. She recently moved to Los Angeles from Miami. Abait has two new exciting series of work: Mixed Nature and Sky Series. In Mixed Nature, Abait shows close-ups of plants and flowers with small swimmers diving and exploring these organic environments. The concept behind the series is that artificial landscapes reflect on man’s relationship with the environment. In Sky Series, Titian’s clouds and deep blue skies inspired Abait. The round shapes of the canvases are reminiscent of the rotundas, churches and frescoes where Titian painted. Abait is an internationally recognized artist. Her work is in the permanent, corporate collections of Neiman Marcus, Ritz Carlton, Florida State University and Four Seasons. She has gallery representation in Atlanta and Chicago.
